Competition: A tatami tiling problem

A tatami mat arrangement is a monomer-dimer tiling in which no four tiles may meet.  For example, this arrangement is a tatami tiling of an orthogonal region.

Can you find a tatami tiling of this region which uses only 1x2 and 2x1 tiles?

Here is a blank version, so you can fill it out

And here is a paper I contributed to, if you want to do a little more reading: http://webhome.cs.uvic.ca/~ruskey/Publications/Tatami/TatamiCOCOONsubmitted.pdf

update: while I was preparing this uber-difficult puzzle for smart people, I managed to burn the rice into an orange cake, filling the house with smoke and nearly setting off the fire alarm.

If you flip it over, the white spaces form a duck and a factory.
